Peter Smith Former assistant director for education for UNESCO, founding president of California State University at Monterrey Bay and of the Community College of Vermont, former Lieutenant Governor of Vermont and as representative in the US Congress. He’s the author of several books, including The Quiet Crisis: How Higher Education is Failing America, and Harnessing America’s Wasted Talent: A New Ecology of Learning. And he’s board president of KSFR.
